January Birthday Heroes Celebration

It's officially 2025, and our Birthday Heroes are continuing to celebrate the birthdays of the elementary age children at Youth Villages! Youth Villages in Douglasville, Georgia, is a home for children who are dealing with emotional and behavioral issues as a result of childhood trauma. Each month our Birthday Heroes bring games, activities, stories, cupcakes and icecream to reinforce to these children they are loved and valued! (Plus we have a lot of fun.) The birthday child receives a watercolor card made by the youth at North River Church of Christ in Marietta. These cards become cherished possessions by the children at Youth Villages, re-reading the names and jokes written by others. On Saturday, January 18th we held four parties! The next venture will be February 22.
